Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME domain extension is the single TLD meant for personal websites only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other labels people are popular by. At first, only third-level registrations were allowed, so if you desired to book john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level names remained working.

Through our company, you can order your .NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will be able to switch the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you take its EPP transfer key from the present registrar firm and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finished. There are no specific restrictions on who can secure a dot NAME domain, but in order to preserve the idea behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry may check who the owner is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration may be challenged.
